The ideal candidate will be:

  • An individual who has demonstrated leadership and initiative in mentoring current and potential women engineers, helping them define success and find opportunities to succeed,
  • An individual who has demonstrated an understanding that women who have mentors have a better chance of success in the workplace and want to contribute to helping more women succeed, and
  • An individual who contributes to society, either through business, professional, community, or service organizations.

A maximum of five (5) awards will be given annually.
