The ideal candidate will be:

  • A woman who has achieved professional excellence, while also making substantive contributions towards advancing the objectives and goals of the Society as stated in the bylaws.
  • A woman who has contributed significantly to the public’s awareness of engineering as a profession for women, and informing employers, the profession and the public of women’s contributions to the fields of engineering and/or engineering management.

The candidate must:

  • Have been a member for at least twenty (20) years.
  • Have current SWE Membership in good standing.
